"Our" Recipes
(We will continue to add recipes as we try new ones.)
Our is in quotes because we are not chefs or culinary geniuses. As a whole, we don't create recipes from scratch, but instead we take existing recipes and adapt them so that they are easier to chew and swallow. Therefore, we give credit where credit is due. Listed in orange at the bottom of each recipe page is the person we got the recipe from and a link to it if applicable. Please note that in some cases we may have left out or added ingredients based on my likes, dislikes, and our goal to make the recipe easier. In some cases, "our" recipe might be quite different from theirs, but we still want to thank them for the inspiration.
As I mentioned on the Welcome page, all of the recipes listed here are vegetarian. If people submit recipes with meat, they would be found on the Recipes from Readers page. I should also mention that I am constantly trying to gain weight and it is so hard to find things that I love that are easy to eat and swallow, that I don't pay much attention to calories or "eating healthy." Unless you count all food less likely to choke me as "healthy." :)
Note: Most of these recipes taste the same after frozen and thawed. We usually make double or triple batches. We freeze in small quantities and pull out to thaw a new batch when we run out of something.
